Abstract

The primary purpose of this book chapter is to examine the use of augmented reality applications in mathematics education from a general perspective. In this context, information about the use of technology in mathematics education is given first. In the following sections, the concept of augmented reality is explained, and the explanations are supported by sample applications of how augmented reality is used in educational processes. Then, by evaluating how augmented reality applications in mathematics education have been handled and used, especially in recent years, the reader is provided with both theoretical and practical information about augmented reality applications in mathematics learning-teaching processes.
