Abstract
This chapter explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a transformative tool for fostering curiosity in educational settings. Curiosity—a driver of cognitive engagement, creativity, and lifelong learning—is crucial in today's dynamic, information-based culture. The article will investigate how AI-powered tools, such as personalized learning platforms, intelligent tutoring systems, AI-enhanced educational games, and content creation technologies, encourage students and educators to explore exciting topics beyond the standard curricula. This article will also examine the role that educators play in creating opportunities for learners to expand the horizons of their curiosity while also engaging with a variety of AI-driven tools. Finally, the article will address both opportunities and challenges associated with AI enhancing curiosity, offering a framework for meaningful integration of these tools.
