Abstract
The employment of AI in cultural and historical literary processing has become a new way of reading texts and studying literature evolution. The current chapter aims at a discussion of possibilities of utilizing the AI for discovering the culture in the historical documents and identifying trends in the literature throughout the centuries. Only using algorithms such as NLP or using sentiment analysis and pattern recognition AI reveals layers of meaning and connections that the human mind would not be able to come across. This paper studies the application of AI in cultural and historical literary analysis in a bid to provide an insight into the role of technology in augmenting understanding on the societal impact of literature.
