Abstract

This chapter explores the transformative integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Robotics in advancing predictive and preventive healthcare. It presents a synergistic ecosystem that utilizes real-time sensing, AI-driven analytics, edge computing, and federated learning to deliver intelligent, scalable, and privacy-preserving care. Through case studies in cardiac monitoring and stroke rehabilitation, significant outcomes are demonstrated, including a 62% improvement in emergency response and a 52% rise in patient satisfaction. The chapter highlights system design, telehealth interfaces, and autonomous robotic support in enhancing patient outcomes and reducing caregiver workload. Challenges such as data privacy, latency, and interoperability are addressed with strategic solutions. Future directions including explainable AI, soft robotics, and secure collaboration models are discussed to enable sustainable, ethical, and responsive healthcare systems.
