Abstract
Climate change and population growth pose significant challenges to food security and environmental sustainability, with traditional agricultural practices often struggling to adapt, resulting in inefficient resource use and negative environmental impacts.The chapter discusses the challenges of ensuring food security and environmental sustainability in a world characterized by climate change and population growth. Traditional agricultural practices often struggle to adapt, leading to inefficient resource use and negative environmental impacts. The Potential of integrating AI, IoT, and plant science for sustainable agricultural management is discussed in that chapter. AI algorithms can analyze vast data from IoT sensors, providing real-time insights and recommendations for farmers. Plant science enhances AI-driven decision-making, enhancing precision irrigation, disease prediction, and yield forecasting. However, challenges like data security, privacy, and infrastructure development need multidisciplinary integration.
