AI and Human Dignity for Case Studies and Practical Frameworks for Corporate AI Governance Models
Abstract
This chapter examines the complex interplay between artificial intelligence (AI) and human dignity in the framework of corporate governance and ethical responsibility. This study analyzes the methods by which large technology-driven organizations implement AI systems that significantly influence human lives, social trust, and the ethical dimensions of work. This chapter conducts a multi-layered analysis of corporate practices in automation, labor management, and digital surveillance, demonstrating how these systems challenge conventional notions of respect, fairness, and human autonomy. This analysis utilizes global case studies from prominent corporations including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon to highlight advancements and ethical deficiencies in existing governance models. The discussion highlights the ethical conflict between technological efficiency and human-centered values, underscoring the necessity for transparent frameworks that align innovation with moral accountability.
