Abstract

5G is transforming logistics and shipping by boosting efficiency, connectivity, and innovation. Its high-speed data transfer, low latency, and massive connectivity enable real-time communication across transportation systems. Applications like vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication support autonomous vehicle testing, fleet coordination, and route optimization. 5G enables seamless data exchange between vehicles, infrastructure, and central systems, resulting in safer and smarter logistics. When combined with IoT, 5G enhances supply chain visibility, allowing real-time tracking of location, temperature, and condition, while predictive analytics help prevent delays and disruptions.
