Author's/Editor's Biography

Surya Padhi (Ed.)
Surya Narayan Padhi is a Professor & Group Head in the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering at K L University. With a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Functionally Graded Materials, he holds an M.Tech. in Materials Engineering from NIT, Surathkal, focusing on Fabrication of thin films of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells. With 24 years of combined academic and research experience, he has extensively taught Engineering Mechanics. His research encompasses various areas such as the stability of FGM beams on different foundations, thermal behavior of Sandwich FGMs, FGM heat pipes, and thin-film fabrication. Dr. Padhi boasts an impressive portfolio of approximately 45 publications in renowned international journals and conferences. He possesses strong computational skills in ANSYS, FUSION 360, and MATLAB. Having successfully supervised over 120 undergraduate and 25 postgraduate students, he currently mentors 5 Ph.D. scholars. Dr. Padhi has filed 11 patents, 8 of which have been published. He serves as a reviewer and editor for multiple esteemed journals. Furthermore, he is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers and a life member of ISTE.
