Maria Estrela Ferreira da Cruz is an Adjunct Professor at the Higher School of Management and Technology, Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. PhD in Information Systems and Technologies from University of Minho in 2016. Researcher of the ALGORITMI Research Centre, University of Minho in Portugal and ARC4DigiT Research Centre, Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. She was a Software Engineer for 13 years in the next companies: Nokia, SIEMENS S.A. and Edinfor (Grupo EDP). Her research interests include business process modeling, software design and modeling, data warehousing and data models.
