Description

Over the last few years, the area of Natural Language Processing has drastically grown in recognition, not only within the research and development community, but also with industry professionals. As NLP continues to be discussed and researched, certain areas continue to grow and mature. As a result, the need for advanced research and information is in high demand.

Emerging Applications of Natural Language Processing: Concepts and New Research provides pertinent and vital information that researchers, postgraduate, doctoral students, and practitioners are seeking. This book compiles the latest discoveries and advances in NLP methodologies and applications while expanding upon various topics regarding the future of NLP.

Reviews and Testimonials

For graduate students and budding researchers in natural language processing, computer scientists review current research and practices in computational techniques to automate any kind of human-like processing of natural language content. They cover text analytics, machine translation, advanced question answering systems, multilingual information access, digital content management, and speech processing. Among the topics are word sense disambiguation, domain adaptation in part-of-speech tagging, a computational cognitive model of human translation processes, interactive question answering, mining user-generated content for social research and other applications, and spreadsheeting using modified visual feature vectors.
