Panagiotis Kanellis (Ed.)
Panagiotis Kanellis is currently a Program Manager with Information Society S.A. in Athens, Greece. Previous to that he held senior consulting positions with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. He was educated at Western International University in Business Administration (BSc), at the University of Ulster in Computing and Information Systems (Post-Graduate Diploma), and at Brunel University in Data Communication Systems (MSc) and Information Systems (Ph.D.). He is a research associate in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an adjunct faculty member at the Athens University of Economics and Business having published more than 50 papers in international journals and conferences. He serves on the Board of the Hellenic Chapter of the Association of Information Systems (AIS) and is a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP). He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Evangelos Kiountouzis (Ed.)
Evangelos Kiountouzis is Professor Emeritus of Information Systems with the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He studied Mathematics at the University of Athens, Greece, and received a PhD in Informatics from the University of Ulster, UK. His professional and research interests focus on information systems analysis and design methodologies and information systems security management. He has published numerous papers in international conferences and journals including the Computer Journal, Computers & Security, Information Management and Computers Security. He is the author of several books on the topics of information systems and information systems security management.
Nicholas Kolokotronis (Ed.)
Nicholas Kolokotronis is a visiting Professor at the Departments of Computer Science and Technology and Technology Education and Digital Systems at the Universities of Peloponnese and Piraeus respectively. He received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, M.Sc. in Computer Science, and Ph.D. in Cryptography from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has been a consultant for private companies and public organizations (Ministries, Regulatory Authorities), focusing in the design of security solutions for e-government and e-procurement applications, as well as, in the analysis of e-commerce technological & legal framework. He has published several articles on cryptography & systems security in international journals and conferences. Amongst others, his research interests include cryptography, combinatorial theory, error correcting codes, finite field theory, electronic commerce, network security protocols, web services, public key infrastructures, and digital forensics.
Drakoulis Martakos (Ed.)
Drakoulis Martakos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He received his B.Sc. in Physics, MSc in Electronics and Radio Communications and Ph.D. in Real-Time Computing from the same university. Professor Martakos is a consultant to public and private organizations and a project leader in numerous national and international projects. He is the Chairman of the Hellenic Chapter of the Association of Information Systems (AIS) and he is the author or co-author of more than 70 scientific publications and a number of technical reports and studies.
