– Mihai Lazarescu, Politecnico di Torino

The Blockchain technology is a distributed ledger that stores blocks of transactions in a sequential order. Because this data is immutable and it is a shared ledger in digital format, it is nearly impossible to alter, providing greater security and trust. Blockchain can also track the data transaction from its origin, thus making it even more secure to identify any errors in tangible and intangible transactions. Artificial intelligence (AI), on the other hand, excels in predictive models and pattern recognition. The combination of AI and blockchain can be a powerful combination to achieve a faster, trustworthy, transparent and authentic model with greater security and efficiency. These two technologies combined can be applied to Industrial Robotics can help its enhanced performance and security.
