Description

Academic research in modern society faces various complex challenges, driven by technological advancements, changing global priorities, and evolving societal needs. Researchers are often tasked with addressing pressing issues such as climate change, public health crises, social inequality, and ethical concerns in artificial intelligence and data privacy. At the same time, the rise of interdisciplinary fields, the demand for more inclusive and diverse research methodologies, and the need for greater border collaboration may complicate traditional academic frameworks. Balancing academic regulations with social relevance, securing sustainable funding, and ensuring accessibility to knowledge are several of the hurdles researchers must navigate. As society evolves, addressing these challenges may help academic researchers effectively contribute to solving urgent global issues.

Academic Research Challenges for Modern Society examines solutions that address the issues in current academic research practices. It explores current research methodologies and approaches to modern advanced research. This book covers topics such as data science, online learning, and ethics and law, and is a useful resource for academicians, researchers, educators, sociologists, computer engineers, and data scientists.
