William Stanley Pendergrass

Dr. William Stanley Pendergrass is currently employed as an Adjunct Professor with the American Public University System in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, teaching courses on topics related to Information Security at the Undergraduate and Graduate Degree levels. Dr. Pendergrass has published numerous times on topics related to Internet Culture. His published topics range from hacking culture, cyberbullying, Twitter use trends, and 4chan‘s nature. Dr. Pendergrass is also a Naval Capabilities Analyst for the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy for Policy [DUSN (P)]. The DUSN (P) serves as the Secretary of the Navy‘s primary civilian advisor on foreign and defense policy, intelligence, capabilities and readiness, and the Department of the Navy‘s security enterprise. Dr. Pendergrass works in the Capabilities and Concepts Directorate in the Pentagon as the Surface Warfare and Cyber Warfare Subject Matter Expert.
