Çiğdem Erdal
Çiğdem Erdal
is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Harran University, Department of Cinema-Television, Şanlıurfa Province of Turkey. After working as a translator, journalist and page editor for newspapers for many years, she went into academy to use her skills in academic production and teaching. With this aim she earned her master’s and doctorate degree in television studies. Her research interests are television audience, political economy of internet and the audience transformation in digital era. She also is carrying out duties as the vice head of the department of Radio Television&Cinema at Harran University, as well as teaching undergrads photography, television analysis, communication theories, and language of film.
