Carlo Carlucci

He graduated in July 2009, in Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering at the University of Calabria, has developed the knowledge in chemical plants. He has provided service at the Laboratory of Transport Phenomena and Biotechnology, University of Calabria, dealing with optimization of bioreactors for anaerobic digestion. Currently he lends his activities at the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA) as technical support to the IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevent and Control) Commission for release of national IPPC Environmental Permits (AIA). In particular, its activity has dealt with the assessment procedures for the IPPC Environmental Permits of chemical plants and refineries, the comparison of plants subject to authorization with the documents adopted by the European Union for the implementation of Directives 96/61 / EC and 2010/75 / EU bearing the criteria for the identification and use of Best Available Techniques (BAT), analysis of technical solutions for the abatement and / or minimization of emissions of pollutants. It also carried out an activity of support to the IMELS (Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea) and IPPC Bureau in Seville, for reprocessing and re-adaptation to the requirements of Directive 2010/75 / EU of some European Reference Documents (BRefs) currently under revision.
