Zakia Aribou
Zakia Aribou
obtained her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry of Materials from Ibn Tofail University, Kenitra, in 2023. She specializes in materials science, particularly in the development of eco-friendly formulations for electrochemical processes, as well as in the study of metal and alloy corrosion and its inhibition using organic compounds. Her research focuses on metallic coatings and corrosion inhibition through chemical and electrochemical methods, supported by computational modeling. She has authored more than 27 publications, with 449 citations, and holds an h-index of 12 on Scopus. She also serves as a Guest Editor for the journal Processes in the Special Issue “Electrochemical Corrosion Processes and Control Technologies,” and acts as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
