Yusuf Mahbubul Islam
graduated in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in 1978, Prof Islam completed his PhD from Strathclyde University in 1988. To enhance his teaching skills through the use of technology he did a Master’s in Instructional Design Technology (MIDT) from Open University Malaysia (OUM), in 2010, at the end of which he was invited to became an international facilitator for the subject of Human Performance Technology (HPT). He was recognized by his students as the best online teacher. He has innovated a teaching and learning workshop methodology called Question-Based Access to Neurons (QuBAN). The methodology draws on Verses from the Al-Qur’an that deal with how the brain works and over 30 years of action research on how best to implement brain-based learning.
