Yuliya Sikirda
, Head of the Aircraft Structures, Aviation Engines and Continuing Airworthiness Department at the Ukrainian State Flight Academy (former Flight Academy of the National Aviation University). Have graduated from the State Flight Academy of Ukraine in 2001, received a Master degree on specialty “Air Traffic Services” specialization “Air Traffic and Control”. Have a diploma of Ph.D. in Technical Sciences on specialty “Information Technologies” (2004), Ph.D. thesis “Modeling of Decision Support System for an Air Traffic Controller in Flight Emergencies”. Since 2006 – Associate Professor, since 2022 – Professor. Author and co-author of about 300 published scientific papers, including chapters in international encyclopedias and foreign collective monographs/anthologies, articles in international scientific journals, which indexed in the scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, as well as copyright certificates for computer programs. Has more than 100 published educational and methodical works (tutorials, lecture notes, workshops, educational and methodical complexes of disciplines, methodical instructions, etc.). Areas of scientific interests: modeling of the individual collaborative decision-making by the operators of Air Navigation System in flight emergencies; intelligent decision support systems in aviation.
