Yuanyuan Guo

Yuanyuan Guo is a postdoctoral researcher and assistant researcher at the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, China. With a focus on digital government, she has been actively engaged in research for the past ten years. Dr. Guo received her Ph.D. in Public Administration from Beijing Normal University in January 2023. Her academic journey also includes a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Changchun University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management and Information Systems from Dalian University of Foreign Languages. Throughout her career, Dr. Guo has made significant contributions to the field of digital government, publishing extensively in esteemed journals. She has authored 14 papers indexed in SSCI and EI, along with other significant articles. Notable works include studies on user activity in government-provided apps, cultural influences on the use of e-government websites, and factors influencing user favorability towards government chatbots. Dr. Guo’s research interests encompass the transformative effects of artificial intelligence on digital governance and citizen-government interactions, the development and evaluation of digital government interaction platforms, and the broader realm of technology governance. Her expertise has led to the publication of two English books, "Emerging Developments and Technologies in Digital Government" and "Digital Government and Public Interaction: Platforms, Chatbots, and Public Satisfaction." In addition to her research, Dr. Guo is actively involved in the academic community. She serves as an assistant editor for the "Journal of Chinese Governance" and holds editorial positions in several other academic journals, including "Intelligent Society Studies," "Population and Society," and "International Journal of Public Administration in the Digital Age." She is also a frequent reviewer for journals such as "Electronic Commerce Research," "Current Psychology," "Humanities and Social Sciences Communications," "Digital Government: Research & Practice," and "International Journal of Information System in the Service Sector." Dr. Guo's commitment to advancing digital government extends to her involvement in various research projects and conferences. She has presented her findings at international conferences and contributed to policy consultations, further establishing her as a knowledgeable and respected researcher in the field. Her work not only advances academic knowledge but also provides practical insights for the implementation and improvement of digital governance systems.
