Youmin Xi
Youmin Xi
is Executive President of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of University of Liverpool, Director of HeXie Management Research Centre, and also keeps his Professorship at the School of Management of Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research and teaching areas cover the development mechanism and strategic analysis of social and economic system, decision-making and decision support systems, organizational behavior and leadership, and education management. In 1987 Youmin Xi established HeXie theory and extended it into HeXie management theory gradually with his research team, an indigenous theory widely recognized in academic circle. As author or co-author, more than 300 academic papers and 20 books have been published. Currently, He serves as Director of the Business Administration Education Steering Committee in China, Rotating Chairman of Chinese Academy of Management and Vice President of the Chinese Association of Enterprise Studies, and deputy director of the national association of Sino-Foreign cooperative education and so on.
