Yogita Kalra

Yogita Kalra is a dedicated Nursing Officer at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi, and a Research Scholar in the Department of Psychology at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. With a strong foundation in both nursing and psychology, she is passionate about bridging the gap between healthcare practice and academic research. She holds a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery, a Post Basic BSc in Nursing, and a Master’s in Psychology from IGNOU. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology, focusing on shift work, chronotype, and psychosomatic symptoms among healthcare professionals. Her research contributions include publications in Scopus-indexed journals, a book chapter on chronotype and its impact on education, and multiple conference presentations on psychosomatic symptoms and quality care in elderly homes. She has also undergone extensive training in research methodology, structural equation modeling, and statistical data analysis. Yogita actively participates in national and international workshops, faculty development programs, and webinars to stay at the forefront of emerging healthcare trends. Her commitment to improving patient care, nursing education, and workplace well-being makes her a valuable contributor to the healthcare and research community. She continues to explore innovative ways to enhance nursing practices, mental health awareness, and research in healthcare settings.
