Yash Pandey
Yash Pandey
is a Ph.D. student in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Shizuoka University, Japan, specializing in hybrid renewable energy microgrids and sustainable rural electrification. His research employs HOMER Pro simulations, MATLAB analysis, and regression-based modeling to develop practical, scalable energy solutions for underserved communities. Yash completed his master's degree at Shizuoka University in September 2025 as a recipient of the ABP Full Scholarship, focusing on optimal capacity planning for rural electrification across diverse load variability and climatic zones. He earned his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from KIIT University, India, and holds an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety. Currently serving as a Research Assistant under Prof. Hitoshi Haga, Yash has published multiple peer-reviewed papers on sustainable energy systems, including works in Wiley Publications, Elsevier's e-Prime, and IEEE Xplore. His research addresses critical challenges in PV-BESS capacity estimation and renewable energy transitions toward net-zero emissions. With international research experience spanning Japan, Taiwan, and India, Yash has presented at numerous conferences and contributes as a freelance consultant for energy corporations. He is affiliated with the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) and serves as a research assistant at Shizuoka University.
