William Chakabwata

Chakabwata William holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Africa and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Arts Education from the University of Zimbabwe. He has taught at the Namibian University of Science and Technology in Namibia and the Midlands State University, also in Namibia. At both institutions, he lectured in research methods and played a key role in student support, orienting students to the technical environment and linking them to the world of work. Dr Chakabatwa possesses a strong understanding of the research environment and has published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. His primary research interests lie in student support and intersectional studies. His work aims to strengthen and consolidate student support systems while making theoretical contributions to the understanding of student autonomy, resilience, and motivation. He is currently a Research Fellow in the College of Education at the University of South Africa.
