Dr. (Prof.)
Vinti Davar
is a distinguished expert in nutrition and hospitality management, currently serving as a Distinguished Visiting Faculty at the Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India. She is the Founder Director of Ural Organics & Wellness Pvt Ltd, Consultant Dietitian at Ayushman Hospital and Health Services, New Delhi, and Nutrition Consultant to various universities, institutes, and schools. Formerly a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Home Science at Kurukshetra University until December 2016, Dr. Davar holds dual MSc degrees in Home Science (Foods & Nutrition) and Hospitality Management, along with a PhD in Food Services Management in Five Star Hotels. Her extensive teaching and research experience spans 46 years, including international engagements under a UNDP project in Africa. Dr. Davar has received numerous awards, such as the Life Time Achievement Awards by NNHSA and IARDO in 2019, and the National Nutritionist Award in 2016. She has published over six books and more than 70 papers in national and international journals. A prolific speaker, Dr. Davar has presented at over 250 conferences and webinars, and holds life memberships in 12 prestigious professional bodies. She is also noted for her contributions during the lockdown, where she obtained 48 online diplomas and certificates, and organized over 50 webinars.
