Vikrant Sharma
Dr.
Vikrant Sharma
is an Assistant Professor with over a decade of academic and research experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, he has dedicated his expertise to Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, Machine Learning, and Signal Processing. Dr. Sharma’s educational journey includes a BTech in Information Technology from Himachal Pradesh University, an MTech from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, and a Diploma in Information Technology from Govt. Polytechnic College. His commitment to excellence is evident in his academic achievements, including securing the second position in his MTech program and being recognized as the board topper during his Diploma. With a substantial record of research contributions, Dr. Sharma has published extensively in reputable journals including (SCI, SCIE, and Scopus indexed) and conferences. His research efforts are focused on optimizing deployment strategies in wireless sensor networks, achieving blanket coverage, and advancing the applications of IoT and machine learning. Notably, Dr. Sharma’s expertise has been acknowledged through patents granted and published, demonstrating his innovative approach to problem-solving. He has also organized and chaired sessions at prestigious conferences, such as the International Conference on Automation and Computation (AutoCom-22). His commitment to the academic community extends to his role as a reviewer for several conferences and Journals from publishers including Springer, IEEE, Elsevier, etc. Currently he is working on development of machine learning and deep learning-based algorithms for, signal processing, image processing, Sensor Networks, IOT, etc.
