Vijaya Lakshmi Pavani Molli
Vijaya Lakshmi Pavani Molli
is a Board-Certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. This prestigious title is awarded to periodontists who have surpassed the necessary educational requirements of their field and demonstrated a thorough mastery of all aspects of periodontal disease, treatment, and dental implant placement. Dr. Molli earned her specialty certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science degree from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During her residency, she also served as a clinical instructor for undergraduate dental students. Originally from India, Dr. Molli earned her BDS degree there before relocating to the United States after her marriage. In the U.S., she furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s in Oral Biology from Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. Simultaneously, she pursued a Master’s in Health Care Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. These experiences, coupled with her clinical training, have equipped her with the skills to manage complex cases and interdisciplinary treatments. She is a clinician as well as an avid researcher who actively publishes her scientific research and strives to contribute to the field of periodontology/ health care in her own way. Her research interests range from the socioeconomic impact of dental care on populations to the biology of alveolar bone and its supporting tissues. Dr. Molli has done poster and paper presentations at various national and international conferences.
