Vidya Jha
Vidya Jha
currently serves as the Deputy Registrar at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, where she also holds the position of Assistant Professor in Commerce & Management. A distinguished academic, Dr. Jha earned her Ph.D. in Commerce and Business Management from Ranchi University, focusing on the “Strategic Management of Creativity and Innovation of Human Resources in the Service Sector,” particularly within Jharkhand’s tourism industry. She holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, and a Master of Commerce from IGNOU, and qualified for the UGC-NET in 2019. With over 18 years of experience spanning academia and industry, Dr. Jha teaches subjects such as Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, and Business Law. Her expertise is not limited to teaching; she is also actively involved in administrative roles, contributing to student welfare and alumni relations. Dr. Jha has authored several research papers, published a book, and presented her work at numerous national and international conferences. She won the best paper award in the 15th National Conference on Contemporary Management and Research organized by Apeejay School of Management, New Delhi. She serves as a reviewer for several prestigious national and international journals and has played a key role as an organizing committee member for both national and international conferences hosted by the university. Her professional experience extends to management positions in the corporate sector, including her tenure at Aqua World, Ranchi. A trustee of the Justice LPN Shahdeo Foundation, Dr. Jha is dedicated to social initiatives benefiting rural Jharkhand.
