Dr.
Vicki A. Hosek
is a researcher and educator with a passion for studying and understanding student and instructor voices specifically in digital environments. Her higher education teaching experience spans several areas including secondary methods and foundations, curriculum development, technology integration across content areas, and multiliteracies. Dr. Hosek’s most recent publications focus on authoritative discourses at work in digital classrooms environments, the way digital citizenship is being defined and taught in the field of education, and the needs of students and instructors in fully online courses. She earned her degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Western Illinois University, and Illinois State University.
