Vera Savić
Vera Savić
, PhD, has recently retired from the Faculty of Education, Jagodina, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, where she held the position of an assistant professor teaching the courses in applied linguistics at bachelor, master and doctoral levels. Her research interests include early foreign language development, primary English language learning and teaching, reading in English as a foreign language, content-based instruction (CLIL and STEM), and language teacher education and professional development. She is a co-author of The 6 Principles for Exemplary Teaching of English Learners: Young Learners in a Multilingual World (2021), and a co-editor of Teaching Young Language Learners in South Eastern Europe: A Multidimensional Research on Policy and Pedagogical Practices (2020), and of Professional Competences for Teaching in the 21st Century (2020).
