Vaishali Singh

Vaishali Singh is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University, under the guidance of Professor Anjan Bhuyan. Though still in the early stages of her academic career, she has demonstrated a keen interest in service quality, pilgrimage tourism, and religious tourism. Her Ph.D. research, initiated in 2021, focuses on the “Service Quality of Pilgrimage Sites in North India: A Case Study of Jyotirlingas.” Vaishali Singh has already contributed to several scholarly publications, including a scientometric analysis on tourism recovery and a forthcoming article on tourist expectations at Baidyanath Dham Jyotirlinga. Her insights on sustainable practices at pilgrimage sites are set to be published in 2025. With her passion and dedication, she holds great promise as an emerging scholar in the field of service quality in pilgrimage tourism. She was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship in December 2019 and advanced to Senior Research Fellow in 2023.
