V. Dankan Gowda
Dankan Gowda V
is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at BMS Institute of Technology and Management in Bangalore. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow at ADA DRDO and as a Software Engineer at Robert Bosch. With a total experience of 14 years spanning both teaching and industry, Dr. Gowda has made significant contributions to academia, research, and innovation. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Dr. Gowda was named among the World’s Top 2% Scientists for 2024 by Stanford University, USA. This prestigious acknowledgment, published on September 16, 2024, highlights his impactful work and dedication to advancing his field. Dr. Gowda has published over 160 research papers in renowned international journals and conferences. His innovative work has earned him six patents, including four granted by Indian authorities and two international patents. His research interests primarily lie in the areas of IoT and Signal Processing, where he has not only conducted workshops but also successfully managed industry projects. Passionate about teaching, Dr. Gowda strives to create an engaging and effective learning environment for his students. He consistently seeks opportunities to enhance his knowledge and stay abreast of the latest advancements in his field, ensuring that his teaching and research remain cutting-edge and impactful.
