Tsitsi Mavambe
, MA, is a PhD Candidate in language education and an educator, researcher, and multilingual literacy advocate with 16 years of experience in child-centred, inclusive education across Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Namibia. She is currently a joint doctoral candidate at Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and the University of Antwerp (Belgium), where her research investigates multilingual pedagogical approaches to reading comprehension for non-readers in under-resourced classrooms. Her work critically engages with the intersection of language education, literacy development, and social equity, directly supporting Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) on foundational literacy as a catalyst for lifelong learning and socioeconomic mobility in multilingual African contexts.
