Tori Jesse
Tori Jesse
is an autistic educational technologist and doctoral student at Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and Russian language and a Master of Educational Technology. She is a Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft Education, where she serves on the Neurodiversity Advisory Board and is a frequent panelist for the Neurodiversity Hiring webinar series. Tori teaches computer science through the Microsoft Technology Education and Learning Support (TEALS) program, working to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM fields. A hackathon enthusiast, Tori is a two-time Microsoft Global Hackathon winner and served as a judge for the University of Washington’s 2023 Husky Hackathon focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence in Educational Technology. As an autistic individual, Tori tends to prefer identity-first language, but in recognizing that others may prefer person-first language, the author may use both.
