Tiffany Lee

Dr. Tiffany Lee is a Professor and Director of Western Michigan University's Addiction Studies Program (SPADA). She has experience as a counselor, circuit court advocate, and child protective investigator. Dr. Lee is also a trainer with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Her grant projects and research primarily focus on addiction training for mental health and medical professionals, and she is the author of the book, Embracing Diversity: Treatment and Care in Addiction Counseling (2nd ed.). From 2016 to 2022, Dr. Lee served on the Health Professional Recovery Committee (HPRC) for the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). She was appointed Vice-Chair of the HPRC (2018-2020) and Chair of Clinical and Policy Subcommittee (2017-2022), which worked with the Attorney General's office to update the policy manual during that time.
