Theresia Edward Busagara
Dr.
Theresia Busagara
is a lecturer in the Department of Finance of the University of Dar Es Salaam Business School. She possesses a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialisation in Innovation and Sustainability. She has over Fifteen years of experience teaching, researching, and consulting in Entrepreneurship, leadership, governance, and inclusive finance for women's and youth's growth, she has attended several competency-based courses and international conferences on leadership transformation, communication, entrepreneurship, consultancy skills, adult training, and Public and advocacy policy. Her most extraordinary competence lies in capacity building through training in Leadership, Governance, Communication skills at the workplace, Public Speaking, and Team Building. She attended one of the most prestigious transformational leadership programs for high-potential, mid-career women leaders in East Africa, led by the Sasamani Foundation in the Women Leading Change program. The program unlocked her leadership skills and increased her confidence to lead positive change within family structures, organisations, and communities while increasing her communication skills. Dr Busagara has contributed enormously to women's and youth's participation in decision-making through these programs by improving governance and political processes.
