Tariq Javid
Tariq Javid
has been working as Professor and Chairperson, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Hamdard University (HU), Karachi, Pakistan. He joined HU in 2015 as Associate Professor. He teaches Bachelor, Masters, and Ph.D. level courses in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer sciences, and information technology. He leads a team of highly motivated Biomedical Engineers, Food Scientists, Food Technologists, and Biotechnologists. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from Pakistan Navy Engineering College, Karachi-Campus, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad; in 2010. He obtained his Master of Engineering degree in Computer Systems Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi; in 2002 and 1999, respectively. He enjoys working in challenging environments with cultural diversity.
