Tainá Souza

Tainá de Souza holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences (University of Aveiro, 2022) and is pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Porto. Her work bridges research and innovation in digital health, with a focus on user-centered design, accessibility, and health equity. At UXVolution, she contributed to the development and evaluation of healthcare solutions, supporting usability assessments, technical documentation and participation in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. She is the first author of a study mapping mobile health applications for Mpox in Brazil, which was presented at Fiocruz in Brazil. She is also the co-author of two articles on digital interventions to promote appropriate antibiotic use. Her academic and professional activities are guided by the conviction that health technology should be human-centered, respecting the social and cultural realities of users. Her areas of interest include health technology design, digital inclusion, health literacy, active aging, and digital public policies.
