Taimi Nghikembua

Dr Taimi Nghikembua is a Language Teacher Educator at the University of Namibia, currently heading the Department: Early Childhood Education and Care in the School of Education. Her background is in Early Language Teaching in Mother Tongue and English. She has 13 years experience in Primary Teacher Education. At the moment, her academic role is primarily in Early Childhood Education and Care with a strong focus on play and outdoor pedagogies as part of the Transformed Curriculum. Dr Nghikembua is involved in various international projects in the field of Early Childhood Education as well as Early Literacy acquisition and learning.
