Svetlana Veljanovska
Svetlana Veljanovska
, PhD, is a Full Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law in Kicevo. She was born in Kicevo, Republic of Macedonia. Since 2009, as a member of the academic community at the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Bitola, she has served as both President and member of the University Senate. At the Faculty of Law, she has held various leadership roles, including Head of the Second Cycle of Studies, and currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty, now in her second term. Professor Veljanovska actively participates in numerous conferences, symposiums, and other scholarly gatherings. She is the author and co-author of a substantial number of scientific papers and has published seven peer-reviewed books and textbooks designed for law students. She plays an integral role in developing curricula for the first, second, and third cycles of legal education at the Faculty of Law in Kicevo. Prof. Veljanovska is also a member of the Joakim Krčoski Scientific Society in Kicevo. Among her most meaningful recognitions are those awarded by her students, who named her “Favorite Professor” in 2020 and honored her as the “Most Inspiring and Motivating Professor” in 2022. She is fluent in English, French, and all South Slavic languages.
