Susana H. Hernández

Dr. Susana Hernández is an assistant professor in the Educational Psychology Department at Northern Arizona University. Her research interests are centered on using critical and non-deficit frameworks to study how higher education state and institutional policies impact racially and ethnically minoritized communities. More recently, her research has examined developmental education reform, technology at HSIs, and campus carry policies. Dr. Hernández has her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University.
