Suleiman M. Hamdan
Dr.
Suleiman Hamdan
is a global education expert and a school improvement advisor with the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) in the United Arab Emirates. He works in designing and implementing effective school improvement systems and providing leadership and teacher development, school evaluation, and professional coaching and mentoring. He previously served as Director of Institutional Effectiveness at the American University in Dubai and as an education consultant in Michigan, United States. Dr. Hamdan’s contributions to global education span a period of over 35 years in the United States and the Arab World, where he served in various capacities, primarily in accreditation and school improvement. This included leading over 100 school system accreditations across the globe and working with school districts and universities in the United Arab Emirates and the United States. His contributions included improved systems at the K-12 and university levels, enhanced planning and implementation of continuous improvement, improved university regional rankings, achievement of student success targets, rigorous implementation of outcome assessment, and effective utilization of technology. Dr. Hamdan holds a Master of Arts in Teaching, an Education Specialist in General Administration and Supervision, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State University in Michigan, United States.
