Sulaeman
, born on November 17, 1974, in Barugae, is a distinguished academic specializing in Islamic Education. He holds the position of permanent lecturer in the Islamic Education Study Program at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar (Unismuh Makassar). Dr. Sulaeman earned his Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Education from Unismuh Makassar in 2006, followed by a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Education and Teaching from UIN Alauddin Makassar, which he completed in 2013 and 2020, respectively. His scholarly contributions are significant, with a focus on innovative pedagogical approaches and educational methodologies. Among his notable publications are his 2023 work on innovations in Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan learning, and his 2024 research addressing the enhancement of educational services for families of Indonesian migrant workers, as well as the improvement of human resource competencies through edutourism. Dr. Sulaeman is also actively involved in the publication of foundational educational texts, including “Perkembangan Peserta Didik” and “Dasar-Dasar Ilmu Pendidikan.” His research and teaching endeavors not only advance academic discourse but also foster the development of essential soft skills among students, in alignment with the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka initiative.
