Sukanti Bhattacharyya
Sukanti Bhattacharyya
is an accomplished medical professional with a diverse background in medical education and research. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Physiology at ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research & Dr. B.C. Roy Hospital in Haldia, West Bengal, India. Dr. Bhattacharyya began his educational journey by earning his MBBS degree from the University of Calcutta in 1991. He went on to obtain a Diploma in Public Health and an MD in Medical Physiology from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in the Faculty of Modern Medicine at the same university. Throughout his career, Dr. Bhattacharyya has made significant contributions to the field of medical education. He has served as a faculty member for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, teaching medical physiology and guiding research projects. Additionally, he has taken on various administrative roles, being an active member in the Death Review Committee, Medical Education Unit, and Institutional Ethics Committee at his institution. Dr. Bhattacharyya's research efforts have resulted in the publication of 6 original research articles, 5 review articles, and 1 book chapter. His dedication to the medical profession and passion for continuous learning make him a valuable asset to the healthcare community.
