Souvik Dhar
Souvik Dhar
is currently working as Assistant Professor of Law. He has completed his Ph.D. in Law from Amity University Noida. He has successfully passed both the UGC-NET and WB-SET examinations. He has a diverse academic experience. Furthermore, he worked as a Research Investigator at the Centre for Child Rights, WB NUJS, contributing to a UNICEF project focusing on the ‘Evaluation of the POCSO Act, 2012 in West Bengal’. His educational qualifications include a B.A. LL.B. from the Department of Law, University of Calcutta, and an LL.M. in Business Laws from Amity Law School, Amity University, Kolkata. Dr. Dhar has also practiced as an Advocate handling cases in consumer rights, banking, civil, and criminal law. He has actively participated, delivered special lectures as resource person. His scholarly contributions comprise numerous articles in reputable journals (including UGC-Care listed journals) and edited books covering diverse legal issues. He is the author and co-author of several books on various legal subjects. He has a total of over 30 publications which includes 15 books. His area of interest includes Health Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, and Human Rights Law.
