Sonja Vlaar

Sonja Vlaar
is a professional supervisor and coach for executive leaders and professionals, and a strategic advisor for organizational learning and development. Based in the Netherlands and working internationally, she has been operating independently since 2004 through her company Attune.nl. Sonja specializes in applied neuroscience, supporting clients in regulating their physiology, biology, and behavioral patterns to enhance relationships, health, wellbeing, performance, and leadership effectiveness. She holds a degree in Nutrition (Ir. MSc.) from Wageningen University & Research (1983), a Master’s in Supervision and Coaching from HAN University of Applied Sciences (2003), and the highest-level Master Neuroplastician® (M.npn) credential by the Institute of Organizational Neuroscience (2024). Sonja is multi-certified in coaching, supervision, and applied neuroscience. She is co-author of the forthcoming handbook Supervision for Coaches, scheduled for publication in August 2025.
