Sonia Ahuja
Sonia Ahuja
is an Assistant Professor of Music (Vocal) at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. A Gold Medalist from Panjab University with a Ph.D. in Music Vocal, she is also a B-Grade Artist from All India Radio and a performer on stage and television. She has presented papers at national and international conferences, published research papers including a Scopus-indexed article and contributed book chapters. She also served as editor of the book Swaranjali: Perspectives on Indian Music (2024). Her research interests include Indian classical music traditions, global influences on music, folk traditions, music therapy, and women’s role in cultural practices.
