Sombir Kundu
Sombir Kundu
received his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana, India, in 2011, M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power System from the DCRUST, Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana, India in 2014 and PhD from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Delhi Technological University, New Delhi, India in 2023. In August 2014, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology (a unit of Ganga Technical Campus), Bahadurgarh, Haryana as an Assistant Professor. In May 2022, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Ganga Institute of Technology and Management, Jhajjar, Haryana, India as an Assistant Professor. In August 2024, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, MMEC, Maharishi Markandeshwar (deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, India as an Assistant Professor. He has authored and co-authored of 20 research papers in reputed journals such as Elsevier, Wiley, Tailor Francis, Springer, etc. He has also authored and co-authored 5 book chapters which are published in Elsevier Publication and CRC Press. He has served as a session chair for the International Conference on Intelligent Computing, Simulation and Optimization, December 08-10, Goa. He was awarded with the Research & Innovation Excellence Award at Delhi Technological University, New Delhi in 2024. He is also working as an editor of Scientific Reports, Springer Nature Journal. His areas of research interests include power electronics, renewable energy, microgrids, power quality, and the application of adaptive and robust control techniques in microgrids.
