Shuvodeep De
Shuvodeep De
is Postdoctoral Research Associate of the Multiscale Materials Group in the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division in Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Shuvo received his doctorate degree from Virginia Tech in Engineering Science and Mechanics with a focus on Finite Element Modeling and Multidisciplinary Design Optimization. Subsequently, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa). At Alabama his research focus was Multiphysics Simulation, Electrodeposition and Superconducting materials. He is currently focusing on Additive Manufacturing, Hybrid Manufacturing, Nanocomposite Materials, Physics-informed Machine Learning and Optimization. Apart from academics, Shuvo has interest in music, arts, photography and traveling.
