Shikha Bassi
Shikha Bassi
is currently working as a Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Health Management Research, Delhi. She previously served as Manager of Fellow Programs & Executive Programs at IIHMR Delhi from August 2021 to June 2024, and as Assistant Manager (Training) from August 2008 to August 2021. In these roles she has been actively involved in organizing training programs and executive courses for both national and international participants. Before joining IIHMR Delhi, she was also associated with The Leprosy Mission Trust India as an Executive. She holds a PhD, an MBA, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Hospital Management. Additionally, she has completed the Green Lean Awareness Certification and Bronze Certification in Lean Healthcare from Simpler, Quality Council of India, and Cardiff University, UK. She has a strong interest in research activities in healthcare and hospital management. She has been part of the consulting team for the “District Level Network Approaches for Scaling Impact, Family Health Learning and Knowledge Sharing India Initiative in Bihar” project and contributed to the “Study on Regional Profile on Health Workforce Education & Training in the Countries of WHO-SEARO.” Also contributed as a team member in Training Need Assessment of Health Functionaries in Timor Leste funded by WHO-Timor Leste, Training Needs Assessment of Medical Officers on NCDs in Maharashtra funded by Project Hope India. She has been part of core teams for several conferences, including the 6th National Conference on Tobacco or Health and the National Conference on Urban Health Management, Green, Safe, and Smart Conference in Healthcare.
